Attempt to reconstruct a craft based upon Ford‘s memories of the ships. The diameter was about 100-130 feet: "The whole construction looked to me like it was laid out in multiple rings around a central space, like an onion, with the outer rings winding upwards and downwards like a snail shell, giving access to the upper and lower decks. The central space is therefore circular and has (relatively identical looking) siblings above and below. Apparently the propulsion and the power supply are situated in the lower one, but this I can only guess, because you normally dont get in there. In the room at the very top, which describes a dome, is part of the crew (but not necessarily for the pilots). I think this is something like the command room. You can't get in there easily either. In the central room, I often noticed things like equipment and something like boxes or loose containers. Often I find myself in such rooms before I then get guided into other rooms. From there you move on the ramp-like rings, which are arranged laterally directly to the central room. If you move there, you can enter rooms in the outer ring, some of which probably house teams. But I was also shown a pilot's stand in this position. From there you could see outside through windows. […] I suspect that the topmost part houses the equipment for medical procedures. I can often remember these dome-like rooms and therefore suspect that they are located up there (geometrically it would fit in any case). But it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. Something like that could also take place in the middle part."
